MISSION: One of the most convenient avenues of earning for women is stitching and tailoring. When they learn this skill, they become empowered to earn even at home, while taking care of their family and house. The objective is to provide employable skill development. Women are taught six-month and one-year certificate courses in stitching, tailoring, and embroidery.
TARGET GROUP: Women from underprivileged sections of the society.
Many beneficiaries who have learned the skills at our centers are today gainfully employed either at boutiques or take stitching orders and work at home.
BENEFICIARIES: 950 ladies in Delhi and 200 ladies in flood-affected areas of Uttarakhand completed stitching and tailoring courses, the majority are now earning.
